Just a quick post today to show progress on the Geometric Weaving course from Balfour & Co.

Warped the frame yesterday evening and lay down a few picks of weft.

Then this morning I cracked on with the weaving, watching the videos as I went.

I’ve started the next section but not taken any pictures yet. More to follow.

A guy in to craft, mainly yarn-based crochet, weaving and some basic knitting. I love mixing colours, trying new patterns and stitches. I will also try different crafts such as stone carving, stained glass making, fused glass and leatherwork. I can think of nothing better than being able to say ‘I made this!’ Even if it’s not perfect.
