New Sneakers – Done

Well, the sneakers are complete with their laces. I had been asking people if they preferred blue or hot pink laces.

The hot pink is not quite that vibrant.

People made it challenging when they said both. 🙂

In the end, blue had more votes, so here they are all completed.

I’m going to send them with the pink laces, so my sister has a choice.

I would have loved to have a pink thread. I’ve seen a rainbow thread which would be cool. Maybe for the next pair I make.

Other than the calamity of the under scaled template printing, the second attempt turned out perfect.

Right, I have some chocolate chip Welsh cakes to make and a bit of weaving, all before 2 pm. I had better get cracking!

A guy in to craft, mainly yarn-based crochet, weaving and some basic knitting. I love mixing colours, trying new patterns and stitches. I will also try different crafts such as stone carving, stained glass making, fused glass and leatherwork. I can think of nothing better than being able to say ‘I made this!’ Even if it’s not perfect.
