Here it is. Homemade mask ready for when they say we can only go further afield with a mask.

I used this YouTube clip for hand sewn masks. It’s quite easy. Although I somehow ended with the elastic in the wrong place on the bottom. My next will be better.
I used that back of an old shirt. I get two pieces from that. And from the right front I can get another.
If I can get enough for a week that will allow for washing and drying.
Take care.

A guy in to craft, mainly yarn-based crochet, weaving and some basic knitting. I love mixing colours, trying new patterns and stitches. I will also try different crafts such as stone carving, stained glass making, fused glass and leatherwork. I can think of nothing better than being able to say ‘I made this!’ Even if it’s not perfect.

I’ve made a couple for the same reason.
I used this patten which is very good if you fancy trying a different style https://www.craftpassion.com/face-mask-sewing-pattern/

I would if only I had a sewing machine. I don’t think I would have the patience by hand. Watching it was interesting though. Thanks for sharing.

Typical me – assuming everybody has a sewing machine 🙄

Used to but gave it back to the mother-in-law a few years back. Think she sold it.
