What a tiring day. All packed up. The removals men arrived at 9am and by 4.30pm we were in the new house. During the day I made the obligatory mugs of tea. Some asked for coffee, but that had been packed. As had the sugar.
Once they had left, then the unpacking began. Beds were made up and the kitchen and living room made useable. Thankfully, the phone and broadband worked even though it was not due to start till Monday. We had to buy two cables for the satellite TV but that now works too. Yay! We are 30% unpacked. Nooo! So much still to do. 😦
The previous house needs cleaning and that is a job for tomorrow. My office needs setting up for Monday. I feel this is going to go for a week at least. And my mum comes to visit next weekend. Fab!
Crochet – 3 rows, that is all I squeezed out from the week. But it’s back on my sofa and hopefully I can finish it some time this week. Or maybe next.
I thought I would look back to the same time last year, or thereabouts, and see what I was crafting. Just over one year ago, I started a chenille afghan blanket.

This one was given away as I had printed a voucher as a Christmas present for December 2017 valued at the price of one blanket. This was for the mother in law. It was completed by mid October.
Well, I cannot wait until I get this new house back to normal. So, time for sleep for my tired and exhausted body, ready to start again tomorrow,
Have a great weekend. Keep crafting!

Good luck getting settled in. I hope you are crafting to your heart’s content soon.
