All done on the latest shawl. This is beautifully soft from the Extrafine Merino and Cashmere in this yarn from Debbie Bliss.
I’m calling it On the Tracks because the pattern reminds of tracks in the front. The reverse is completely different and looks like ribbing from a distance.
It feels quite thick and is nice and warm, and would keep you wrapped up and toasty on a cold evening.
The loom is now forlorn and empty. I definitely need to put something on there quick.
A guy in to craft, mainly yarn-based crochet, weaving and some basic knitting. I love mixing colours, trying new patterns and stitches. I will also try different crafts such as stone carving, stained glass making, fused glass and leatherwork. I can think of nothing better than being able to say ‘I made this!’ Even if it’s not perfect.

This is stunning – I love how different the two sides look as well. I want to weave something now!
