The Thetis shawl I crocheted while on holiday is now all blocked and finished.
I’m quite pleased as it came out really well and the colours are lovely. The finished size is about 78 inches wide and 35 inches from centre to tip.
Here are some finished pictures.

The shawl is a cotton/polyacryl blend from Wollium yarns in Germany. It would be perfect for a summer evening out.
I’m currently weaving. Warped the loom the morning and nearly finished about 3 yards of fabric. It will be off the loom tomorrow.

Have a good week!

Your shawl looks great. I really like the weaving you are working on too.

I like the eyelet sections of your shawl. The shapes look like leaves.

The shawl is beautifully made and the colours look really good. I didn’t realise that you could have warp threads that changed colour. Are they dyed like that or do you join them? If this is a duplicate please ignore. Had problems first time.

Thank you. It’s called clasped Weft weaving. Essentially wrapping on warp from one end through another from the other end. I’ll be writing about it this week. No issues, only one post 🙂
