A Crochet sprint to the finish

I am on the last stretch of the race to finish the blanket. Just 4 rows remaining and those few are big stitch rounds so it should further add to the size of the blanket.

It’s a decent size. One that you can draw over you and snuggle into, but also cover a single bed to a reasonable length. It’s certainly given some warmth as I have worked on it. Too much in fact with the heat from today.

Almost there

My holiday project planning has taken a diversion. I now have two projects to take with me. I found this shawl pattern on Ravelry which I thought would look good with the dark night sea blue yarn; Amethystos by Silke Terhorst.

Silke has some lovely patterns, although not all are translated to English. But if you can work from crochet charts, you may be ok.

I think I shall make the dress I posted Friday using the other yarn I have from Wollium called Ostseestrand. The pattern is worked from the neck down. Thoughts on whether I start with the blue/inner or the sand/outer of the ball?

So, finish line in sight for the Lost Garden blanket and this week shall be mostly getting ready for Friday hols.
