Friday Roundup #24-19

Well, what a wet old week. And it felt chilly too. Twice I had a thick jumper on. Speaking of jumpers, I guess it’s now time to think about making a jumper ready for the cooler evenings of autumn. Hard to believe we are coming up to the longest day next weekend!

I do have a jumper WIP, so I really should get back to that. It only needs sleeves and the chest and neck. Then after that I should crack on with the one I brought yarn for when I was in London.

But before I even get there, I have a blanket to finish up. I am moving along if slowly. I am almost halfway through the rounds. But the rounds are getting longer and taking more time to complete. However, I am determined to get it finished for my niece. She has just graduated, so now on summer break.

Getting there!

I’ll be doing some more in the morning given the weather we may get on Saturday. I doubt I shall be venturing into the garden much this weekend. Although I still have some tomatoes to pot on, so a trip to the garden centre will be on the cards.

The geraniums are out in flower, busily pollinated by bees. I love this colour. It’s so vibrant and really stands out in the garden. Especially in the evening.

Unsure of it’s name, but it’s a great garden plant.

Wishing you all a fab weekend.
